The garden adjacent to the Palliative Care Facility underwent a complete refurbishment over the past year.
It has greatly enhanced the facility & the feedback from families & staff has been heart-felt, positive & supportive.
The general consensus is that it has made an amazing impact on patients & their families.
It has been widely accepted that a peaceful colourful garden is an integral component of palliative care.
The project was a collaborative undertaking by The County Carlow Hospice Committee & Friends of the District Hospital.
