The Barrow Valley Painters held a very successful Cheese & Wine reception in St. Patrick's College, Carlow on Friday 27th October. This was the 50th Anniversary of the group & Olivia OLeary addressed those present to mark this special occasion. The reception was very well attended & was most pleasant & enjoyable.
The exhibition continues all week to Friday 3rd November. There will be a raffle on the closing date for a lovely painting 'Ducks at Milford' which is on display. Tickets are for sale up to the closing date.
The Barrow Valley group are again very kindly donating the proceeds of the exhibition week to the County Carlow Hospice Committee.
Their support is very much appreciated
